This concept simplifies the design of the machine and enables blast wheel positioning on both sides of the plate with the added bonus off shot free exit of treated plate. This process has the advantage of shot blasting uniformity and controlled work speeds.
Furthermore it is possible to switch off top turbines for shorter plate widths, resulting in energy savings and lower manufacturing costs.
