Shot

 OMSG shot blast, shot-peening machines and machine systems work with steel shot, whose shape and size can vary depending on the type of product that must be treated.

OMSG recommends the use of shot, good quality, with hardness between 46 ÷ 51 HRC, and sizes between S 230 and S 390 (round)

In addition to the round shot , it can be used the angular grit, or a mixture of both (compatible with the hardness and the sizes above given).

For certain applications must be used the steel cut-wire or stainless steel grits.

In case you need to use the different grits (natural abrasives, ceramic abrasive, aluminum or brass shot, etc.) it is necessary to carefully consider the possible feasibility in terms of compatibility, performance, maintenance and management costs.
